I'm into gymnastics. And I gotta say the China's men and women team were awesome.

Special mention goes to our table tennis team. Finally..our first medal for Singapore since 1960

I like watching gymnastics too.

For me, as long as it's the SG flag out there, who's representing us doesn't really matter much. The most important thing that counts is still that - results.

Actually, most of us are also imports. Or descendants of imports. Where do most of our forefathers come from?

What can I say about the Beijing Olympic Games?

Man...this gotta be the most awesome...most spectacular...most awe-inspiring games - EVER!

I can see that China is out to make a statement to the world. And they have certainly succeeded. Love it!

Damn...I'm sufferring from Olympic games withdrawal syndrome!

Truly a remarkable season, the best place to be in for Chinese pride - Beijing 2008. Even the IOC chief Jacques Rogge had to say "Through these Games, the world learned more about China, and China learned more about the world". I truly agree. China is fast becoming a formidable superpower to be reckoned with, they have the sporting talent, the economy's picking up in leaps & bounds, they have no dearth of art, cultural, mental talents in all fields. They have the determination & fighting power (something I find lacking in SG nowsdays) to improve their lives. From the way the millions of countrymen strived to master English in preparation to welcome the World when they come for the Games, the Chinese spirit will lead the way to achieving their goals.

It was definitely a superb edition of the Olympics. The London Olympics will have a hard act to follow. Very unlikely they will be able to reach Beijing's standards, unless they match China's massive budget.
