Welcome to Qotion.com!
Qotion.com is a website for you to browse and discuss financial products. Currently, we are undergoing further development, and hope to serve you when we relaunch the site with new features.
The rates for all the FDs are out of date. Any reason why ?
Hi Revival,
You have rightly spotted the out-datedness of the rates. These FD rates were taken out from our old database which is outdated. We are looking to update soon, while we continue our effort on our new member features.
Cheers,
Jag

Hardwarezone forum have a page which summarise the fixed d rates : http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=1150188
Nice.
That will be a good complement to the information we have here. We do have filters for sorting and some organization as well though.
In any case, the more of such information there is out there, the more the consumers benefit. Everyone wins.

Hi Deathsender,
The FD rates have been updated already. You can also 'subscribe' to the product and be alerted of any rates changes.

Hi Krystal,
I saw the rate of 2.55 for DBS FD (Fresh Fund)? Is it their latest promotion?
Hey moneyman!
... I'm sorry about that and I have removed them from the list.
I have checked with DBS, the promotion is over
If you are above 55 years old, you may want to consider the DBS Premier Income Account as there is an additional 0.25% added to the current fixed deposit rates.
Moneyman, I like your nickname and it suits you just right, haha, you are so sharp.
Love
& Always,
Krystal
Hi Krystal,
Thanks for checking. I am still many years away to have the privilege of an additional 0.25% for FD.
FD rates are so low... dont even feel like putting money in FD.
Banks based in Singapore have tonnes of cash / money thats why they are offering sucky interest rates. Even the 2% offered by citibank was later lowered to 1.2%...My view ... Investment is certainly better than FDs.

precisely
the interest rate is indiscernible
so no diff whether in biscuit tin or in bank right?
the 0.25% p.a. one is really pathetic, but i think the NTUC Fairprice's 1% still o..k..... lar... :p

Interest rate of banks at least got abit lah... Biscuit tin maybe only leave you in the end with biscuit crumbs?
HEHE and Axelance mention, NTUC still has a 1% interest savings account... Citibank has a 1.2% account.
