For me,

Pri school - $1.50 every day...After spending some for recess in school, my mother would get me to save the remainder and top up $1.50 the next day.

Sec school - my mother would top up my wallet to make sure that there are $20 in my wallet everyday, excluding weekend...cos she expect me to eat at home during weekends. If i am going out, then i would use the remaining savings from the week.

Poly - Started work and i decide my own allowance every month...Earn $600 every month and give $300 to my parents with $300 to spend every month...This $300 would pay for my transport, food, hp and internet bill, miscellaneous spending when i go shopping once in a while...(i kinda like shopping...although i know it's quite rare and weird for a guy to love shopping....hahahaha)

Realised nobody responded, prob shy reg. the $$ issues haha.

For me:

Pri Sch = $1 (lower pri), $2 (upper pri) per day (everyday hv to record expenditure in jotterbk, eg. Eraser 20cents)
Sec Sch = $10-15 per week (only for food - if need to buy books etc can ask)
JC = $300 per month (for hp/pager bills, books all these, still can ask)
Uni = $2000 per month, plus extra income from tuition haha (for everything, plus must save too)
