Mobile phone plans are not new to everyone now. If you're looking to get a new plan, upgrade, or add new lines to your current subscriptions, you can check out our new mobile section here

It's a simple comparison table a la Qotion and you can comment, search, compare and filter according to the phone plan you want!

I've uploaded mobile service plans from M1, SingTel and Starhub =0

that's good.... for general overview of the price plans
Will u be updating with their time-to-time promotions?

Oh yes, and if possible, not just mobile plans, but promotional details for other financial products such as FDs, credit cards and loans...

We are doing our best to bring information that can add value and be useful for members like you.

Cheers,
Jag

Just a suggestion, maybe the comparison of phone plans can have more fields like free minutes, free sms and so on so we can compare which is most suitable to us at the most suitable price :P

Guys not to forget certain mobile providers have certain club or packages advantages. If possible just include in if you are in the club or using a certain package, it comes with additional savings. IE.

Starhub - Hubber / Hub Club
Singnet - MIO
M1 - ??

Hi FireIce,

Yes, when there are promotions, feel free to update us so we can share it with hundreds of members possibly paying more without knowing where to get them from.

Alternatively, there's always the forum where we discuss them as promotions do come and go. I remember the days where I had to call up army and navy camps to find out where the mobile phone roadshows were going to be held - because it would cut my contract subscriptions by half!!!!

Actually for the main comparison fields (for every one of our comparison categories) we aim at making it straightforward with the most relevant 3 fields for comparison.

But of cos the current fields might not be the most relevant so we definitely need your feedback to improve them. We also do not rule out the fact that next time users might be able to choose their own fields for comparison, so do keep the suggestions coming.

Their commericals has perhaps comes with the hidden meaning that starhub and singtel dun listen to their customers... namely, red microphone and green MP3 in one commerical and recently the green 3 handles and red 4 handles cups?

Maybe i'm reading too deep into it...

My Personal feel is that Starhub and Singtel are grabbing the market share with M1 losing out on the race. Lets see after 13TH June, who will be the stronger among the 3. My Bet Starhub...hahaha i'm a hubber hehe.

I actually wanted to get a Starhub line but in my area of work, I know that the reception would be kinda poor as what my friend told me...

Currently now, they allow retaining of numbers when you want to change plan. But if let's say I want to switch from singtel to starhub, do they allow me to retain my singtel number?

Hi qwerty123, sad to say but its true starhub mobile tends to have poor reception as compared to the other two and starhub do allow you to retain your singtel number however do it after 13th June when the number portability kicks in.

SingTel debuts the 3G iPhone in Singapore

10-Jun-08, 09:23

SINGAPORE - SingTel will become the first telco firm in Singapore to offer the newly launched 3G version of the iPhone.

First previewed by Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs at the Worldwide Developer Conference on June 9th, the mobile device features improved 3G networking speeds and built-in GPS functions at a cut-down price of US$199.

Tim Cook, Apple’s COO, said: “We are excited to be working with SingTel to bring iPhone 3G to millions of mobile customers in Singapore. We can’t wait to get this revolutionary mobile device in the hands of even more people around the world.”

Quek Peck Leng, SingTel’s executive VP of consumer, added: “We are pleased that Apple has selected SingTel to be the first mobile operator in Singapore to launch its new iPhone 3G.”

“Customers can enjoy internet access on the move, supported by SingTel’s 3G network coverage and new range of services which we will be launching over the next 12 months.”

The Singaporean telco will reveal full pricing and availability of the Macintosh product later this year while a microsite has been developed for local consumers to pre-order for the highly-anticipated device.

Well nowadays M1 quite stingy with their handsets promotion and vouchers...in the past they were much better... Nowadays starhub gives a better handset deals along with vouchers. Just the reception problem...if their reception improve to singtel standard ah...singtel and M1 can go fly kite lor.

With the recent implementation of the number portability, all the telcos have decided to price their plans exactly - down to the last cent. Less of an incentive for customers to jump ship now.

Rewards for redemption...thats i'm not very sure but in terms on gifts for signing up...starhub beats Singtel anytime ...if you look at their free gifts ...its rather incrediable...giving Massage Chair etc...Woh....

Reception wise...no 2 ways about it...Singtel definitely....no horse run.

Well there are two ways of fighting competition...price of phones and price of plans...if price of plans are similar or same...then it boils down to the phone promotions liao...different operator might have different pricing for different phones...

the cost of phones does not vary a lot from telco to telco, as it's more or less set by the supplier/distributor
so they can only play with the price plans, roll out promotions where they will hide the cost somewhere....

they are doing a business, anyhow they are after ur money.
so there is not such thing as "good deal"
U pay less here, but they will take it back from elsewhere.
do read fine print very very carefully.

The reward pts do not really matter much if you calculate their yield.

Does anyone know whether singtel offer per second billing now? M1 has joined starhub in offering it.

Talking about Iphone...based on the newspaper i read a few days back...Singtel most likely will be selling that at about 500 SGD with contract ... with price to drop when Starhub and M1 comes in with it next year. However there are a few phones similar to iphone...those people interested can go and take a look and have a feel esp during the roadshows...like brands like HTC , Samsung, LG...etc
