Has anyone took up study loan from the Bank before? Is there any tips that you can share with me? Which bank loan iccur the least interest?.. I heard from friends that in times like now, it is difficult to secure a bank loan?
Hi Vic84, we have taken a study loan before, it is a very stressful thing. Study loans are not a big thing in Singapore ever since they clam down on the loan size from 6 times of monthly salary to only 2 times of monthly salary. And further studies in an overseas university could cost easily 80k to 100k now. Let's say your dad or mum earns 10,000 a month, you would need to successfully borrow 20,000 from 5 banks to achieve that.
